Program
Through stories inspired by scientific research, this illustrated book invites children and families to discover some of the invisible relationships that make forests such extraordinary places.
From majestic trees to the tiny organisms living in the soil, readers will meet the many protagonists that help forests face the challenges of global change, communicate, and support one another—allowing them to continue caring for our planet and for us.
During the event, one of the authors will guide children and families through a reading that becomes a journey into the fascinating world hidden beneath our feet and above our heads.
The initiative will be enriched by interactive activities developed in collaboration with Leo Scienza, inspired by the themes and characters of the book. The book was created within the framework of the COST Action CA21138 (CLEANFOREST) – Joint effects of CLimate Extremes and Atmospheric depositioN on European FORESTs – funded by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).
