The seminar will be held by Professor Chaofu Lu, from Montana State University (USA).
Camelina is a recently rediscovered oilseed crop. The facile transformation and close relationship with the model plant Arabidopsis made it an ideal platform for translational plant biology research to produce novel bio-based molecules. For sustainable crop production, we are exploring the camelina germplasm for increased nitrogen use efficiency and seed characteristics such as seed size and oil content.
