From the 21st to the 24th of April the UNIBO students of FOEBE+ (FOstering Entrepreneurship for a sustainable and innovative BioEconomy) went through the Challenge Week, an occasion for developing their entrepreneurial projects based on bioeconomy.
In these days the students had the opportunity to put in practice what they have learnt across the teaching modules in the past months, from business management and finance, to sustainable entrepreneurship, digitalisation and marketing. The week was kicked-off by the insightful workshop on “Food Product Design Principles: Introduction to Design Thinking” held by Prof. Malgorzata Krzywonos (Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Poland).
To find inspiration for their projects it was organised a teaching visit to Macfrut, the international trade exhibition dedicated to the fruit and vegetable sector. In the last week of May the winning project from the local challenge will compete with the most brilliant ideas from AgroParisTech, University of Hohenheim, Wageningen University, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences of Vienna, University of Eastern Finland, and Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
