The University of Bologna launches the second 2025 edition of the EIT Food RIS Inspire Summer School “Sustainable Food Production and Consumption: new Deep Tech approaches, methods and tools.”
Following the success of the first 2025 edition held from 15 September to 3 October, the University of Bologna is pleased to announce a second edition of the Summer School taking place online from 10 to 21 November 2025.
Coordinated by the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences (DISTAL) at the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the University of Turin, Foodback, Sabri Ülker Foundation, and Grupo AN, this edition continues to explore key sustainability challenges in food production and consumption, with a strong focus on Deep Tech innovations.
Participants will engage with leading academics and professionals to co-design creative solutions for sustainable agriculture, alternative proteins, and circular food systems.
The programme welcomes students, Master’s and PhD candidates, young researchers, and early-stage innovators from RIS countries eager to make a difference in the food sector.
