Workshop “Systems Biology of the Crop QTLome” at Plant and Animal Genome 31

31st Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG) – Workshop “Systems Biology of the Crop QTLome” – Organized by Roberto Tuberosa from DISTAL, University of Bologna, Italy

  • Date: 16 January 2024 from 13:30 to 15:40

  • Event location: Town & Country Hotel – Hotel Circle North, San Diego (CA -USA)

  • Access Details: Admission subject to enrolment/registration and payment of a fee

During the 31st Plant and Animal Genome Conference (PAG 31), Prof. Roberto Tuberosa will organize a Workshop titled “Systems Biology of the Crop QTLome”, on Tuesday, Jan 16 from 1:30 to 3:40 PM. In this workshop, six internationally reknown researchers will present state-of-the-art research on cloning QTLs in crops, a key topic for genomics-based breeding and to identify and/or edit key sequences that govern crop productivity and crop resilience to adverse conditions.

During his staying in the USA, Prof. R. Tuberosa will also present two invited lectures entitled “Circular genomics for cloning genes and QTLs for root system architecture in durum wheat, barley and maize” at School of Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona (Tucson) and at the Department of Botany and Plant Science at the University of California, Riverside.
