Responsibilities
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
The Administrative Manager coordinates the services and administrative offices of the Department. The Administrative Manager prepares the technical aspects of both the provisional and final budgets, as well as the asset situation, supports the governing bodies according to the regulations in place regarding accounting and service organization, and assumes the role of secretary in the Department Council and Board. He collaborates with the Director on all activities concerning the improvement of the department’s structure.

COORDINATOR OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

COORDINATOR OF LABORATORY SERVICES
The Coordinator of Laboratory Services manages and organizes the Department’s laboratory units, ensuring technical support for research and educational activities and the efficient management of technical and scientific equipment, in line with the directions and objectives set by the Director, in compliance with the laboratory regulations and safety procedures.

• The Coordinator of Specialized and Educational Technical Laboratory Services for Bologna, Cadriano and Imola is Serena Venturi

SPECIALIZED FUNCTIONS – EDUCATION AND RESEARCH
Function Manager specializing in supporting education and/or research (as per art. 91, paragraph 1 of the CCNL 16.10.2008).
The Administration, under the guidance of the Department Director, assigns responsibility roles to support education and/or research to technical personnel with particular specialization or qualifications ("professionals"), requiring specific and highly qualified skills. The responsibility is assigned based on various indicators such as the number of scientific publications in indexed journals with impact factors, contributions to volumes and books, the number of scientific and/or applied research projects in which they collaborate, and the average annual number of students in undergraduate and postgraduate courses for which educational services have been organized and provided.

LOCAL SAFETY OFFICERS (ALS)
ALS are responsible for all aspects related to safety and health in the workplace within the Department. The duties of ALS are clearly defined and can be consulted in Article 8 of the University’s Safety Regulations. ALS for the DISTAL Department are:
