Interreg Central Europe Kick Off Meeting: “FoodCIRCUS – Circular solutions for keeping food waste out of Central Europe’s schools

The Kick-off Meeting of the FoodCIRCUS Interreg project, held on June 6^th and 7^th, aims to establish a collaborative foundation for reaching the goal of the project, the creation of circular solutions to reduce food waste in European school canteens. The activities conducted within FoodCIRCUS by the Departement of Agricultural and Food Sciences, will focus on the elaboration of of food waste reduction tools and best practice practical solution aiming at reducing the food waste generated by schools and kindergarten cantens by up to 25%.
