Department governing bodies

The roles, functions, and areas of responsibility of the Department’s governing and management bodies.

  • Head of Department

    The Head of the Department has functions of guidance, initiative, and coordination of the Department’s scientific and teaching activities.

  • Giunta

    The Giunta Committee is the governing body of the Department that assists the Head of the Department and has decision-making powers on matters delegated to it by the Department Council.

  • Council

    The Council – chaired by the Director – is the governing body of the Department, entrusted with development and planning activities as well as the choice of the related implementation criteria
