Council

The Council – chaired by the Director – is the governing body of the Department, entrusted with development and planning activities as well as the choice of the related implementation criteria

The Department Council has multiple functions related to the activities of the Department.

The Department Council is composed of:

  • The Director, who presides over it;
  • The professors and researchers affiliated with the Department;
  • The Officer Responsible for the Department Administrative-Management , who acts as the secretary;
  • The elected representatives of the technical-administrative staff, making up 15% (rounded down) of the total number of professors and researchers;
  • The elected representatives of first, second, and third cycle students, making up 15% of the total number of professors and researchers, in accordance with the rules set by student election regulations, in application of Article 38, paragraph 12 of the University Statute; the representatives of third cycle students are two;
  • The elected representative of research fellows in accordance with Article 11 of this regulation.
