Sustainability in the agri-food sector largely depends on the constant introduction of innovation along agri-food chains. Comprehending what promotes this process is fundamental for ensuring reduced pressure on natural resources and good living conditions in rural areas. Policies can play a forefront role in this regard. To deepen the understanding of such a crucial theme, we explored the perception of stakeholders on the impact of policies on supporting the introduction of innovation in agri-food chains.
