Erasmus BIP
Blended Intensive Programme (BIPs) Erasmus+
Programmes Overview
BIPs (Blended Intensive Programs) are short-term, intensive study programs that include both in-person activities, lasting from 5 days to 1 month (conducted abroad), and online activities.
These calls are open to specific Degree Programs, as the activities involved are highly specialized and places available for each Call are limited, with variations from one Call to another.
Each BIP guarantees participants a certain number of ECTS credits, specified in the Call itself, which will be recognized in the academic career of the winners participating in the program. Students who successfully complete the program will earn D-type credits, which count as optional credits in a specific Subject Group - SSD (e.g., 4 CFU in XYZ/00).
The BIP includes meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops aligned with the project's objectives as outlined in the Call. Specifically, the in-person attendance includes courses, educational visits, and field activities organized by the host organization, among others; while the online attendance includes bibliographic research, data analysis, group work, and more.
Selected students will receive a scholarship to cover expenses related to physical mobility and may also benefit from the Green Travel contribution in case of ecological travel (from Bologna to the abroad facility and back).
Students applying for this call cannot receive, during the same mobility period in which they benefit from Erasmus+ BIP scholarship, any other type of contribution (including scholarships for Joint Master’s Degree - former Erasmus Mundus Action 1) or funding from UNIBO allocated for an international mobility period (e.g., Thesis Abroad).
