Support for Research activities

Mission

To provide technical and professional support for access to research funding and the correct and effective management of competitive projects.
To provide support to department staff involved in research activities, permanent staff (professors and researchers) and others (fellows and doctoral students).

Main activities

• Supporting the management and reporting of competitive research projects, of the main programmes, initiatives and funding calls on a regional, national, and European / /international level, such as, for example, the Call for High Skills, POR FESR 2014-2020, PRIN 2017, SIR, Departments of excellence MIUR, PON, Horizon 2020, Territorial cooperation programs, LIFE
• Contributing to the promotion and dissemination of opportunities for access to competitive funding for research and innovation at different levels, in coordination with SSRD-ARIC and support activities related to the participation of professors, in partnership with the central offices of the University (SSRD -ARIC and the other competent administrative offices)
• Managing relationships with central offices for the coordination of research activities and global issues (such as, for example, open access, privacy, code of ethics, DMP, intellectual property)
• Monitoring the implementation of projects, their management and reporting and possible audits by the funding bodies
• Supporting development activities, e.g. mapping of the department assets, organisation of "research" events
• Supporting relationships with funding bodies.
