International Workshop on Food Loss and Waste Prevention targeting Mediterranean countries

Part of a series of workshops, organised by Thünen Institute after 2015 annual Meeting of G20 Agricultural Chief Scientists (MACS-G20) emphasized the decisive importance to reduce Food Loss and Waste.

The Thuenen Insitute, along with UNEP France, FAO, University of Bologna, University of Tuscia and RSC talent is proud to invite you to the annual meeting on food waste organized within the G20 MACS. This year, the event is hosted by Italy (Ministry of Ecological Transition). Stakeholders from Mediterranean countries along the food supply chain from agriculture to waste management (e.g., farmers, farmer associations), businesses, research, policy makers (local, regional, national government), NGOs, consumer (associations), social organisations (such as food banks, etc.) are welcome!
