We are pleased to share that Prof. Francesco Orsini, member of the horticulture research group at the University of Bologna, has been invited as a panelist at the Vertical Farming World Congress 2025 in Amsterdam (October 7–9).
He will contribute to the Science & Nutrition session, together with Leo Marcelis (Wageningen University) and Molly Montgomery (AeroFarms), to discuss crucial aspects of indoor vertical farming such as resource use efficiency, crop diversification and environmental impacts.
This will be a unique opportunity to bring the perspective of our research center into a global dialogue on how vertical farming can advance sustainable and resilient food systems.
