The University of Bologna proudly joins the EIT Food Inspire & RIS Inspire programme for the fifth consecutive year with its Summer School “Sustainable Food Production and Consumption: new Deep Tech approaches, methods and tools.

This fully online programme will kick off in mid-September and run for three weeks, coordinated by the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the University of Turin, Foodback, Sabri Ülker Foundation, and Grupo AN.

What to expect?

The Summer School offers a dynamic and in-depth exploration of today’s key sustainability challenges in the food production and consumption chain, with a special focus on Deep Tech applications. This year’s core topics include:

· Sustainable Agriculture

· Alternative Proteins

· Circular Food Systems

You’ll learn from a diverse team of leading academics, food professionals, and innovation experts. Through interactive sessions and collaborative work, participants will have the opportunity to develop and co-design creative solutions to support healthier and more sustainable food systems.

This Summer School is designed for university students, Master’s and PhD candidates, young researchers and early-stage food innovators from RIS countries, eager to make an impact in the food sector.
