SOUL aims at developing, demonstrating and deploying 11 advanced biobased materials and product solutions for biodegradable-in-soil applications improving the sustainability, safety, circularity, and performance along the overall value chain. SOUL will validate on field-testing the material high-tech properties comparable with those nonbiobased/ biodegradable-in-soil and, also, the production capacity to manufacture a set of end-products for different sectors (agriculture, gardening/landscaping, sports/leisure) and the replication into other sectors. Results will accelerate the market introduction of new sustainable biobased and biodegradable-in-soil materials and product solutions and will facilitate the uptake into other markets.
