Call for applications
The DAAD-workshop addresses young researchers from Italy and Germany with a research focus on ethical food products consumption. It will bring together established scientists, recognized for their expertise in the research field, with Italian and German doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows for two intensive days of scientific exchange.
Call for applications
 Young Italian and German researchers who would like to participate are requested to submit an abstract of a paper in English (2 pages) before June 15th, 2015.
 Travel and accommodation costs of the Italian researchers will be paid by the DAAD.
 Topic of the scientific contributions: Analysis of consumer behavior and preferences towards ethical food products (e.g., organic food, animal welfare, fair trade, regional or sustainable food), especially empirical studies and multivariate data analysis methods (e.g., structural equation modelling, choice modelling, experimental auctions).
 Abstracts should include: addressed question, theoretical background, methods, results and con-clusion.
 Submission of abstracts via e-mail: ethical.consumption@uni-goettingen.de.
A total of 12 Italian and 12 German young researchers will be selected on the basis of the scientific quality and content of the submitted abstract.
About the workshop
Presentations of research based on several quantitative methods in the field of ethical food products consumption will be held by established researchers and discussed with the participants. Moreover, the young scientists will present their contributions or ongoing projects to the experts and peers, thus enjoying the possibility to receiving feedback. A selection of the papers will be considered for publication in a journal special issue.
