FoodCIRCUS: Circular solutions for keeping food waste out of Central Europe's schools

Reducing school food waste: circular models, educational tools, and policy recommendations to valorize residues and engage public-private stakeholders.

FoodCIRCUS overall objective is the real reduction of food waste resulting from school meals, pointing out ways to valorise remaining food waste residues and involving private as well as public stakeholders to anchor the topic in the minds of all relevant target groups by providing best practice models (based on pilot actions), educational tools to be implemented directly and a strategy including policy recommendations to solve the food waste problem on a superior level.
